The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) is pleased to announce a series of upcoming regional symposia designed to bring together patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates from across the country.

The 2025 Chicago Cholangiocarcinoma Symposium, hosted by Dr Anjana Pillai and Dr Andy Liao, will take place on Friday, September 26, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery in Chicago, IL.

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation 12th Annual Conference marked a milestone in global collaboration. It brought together scientists, academic researchers, advocates, industry partners, patients, and caregivers to identify the top research priorities in cholangiocarcinoma.

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is providing a video series for patients and caregivers. Patients can access informational videos through electronic health records.

The 12th annual conference, International Consensus on Research Priorities, aims to accelerate breakthroughs in understanding and treating cholangiocarcinoma by identifying top research priorities through collaboration among patients, caregivers, and experts in 10 specialized working groups.

Dr Bardeesy has contributed significantly to understanding and treating CCA, a rare and aggressive cancer of the bile ducts. He has worked with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) in multiple capacities, is a CCF Science and Medical Advisory Board emeritus member, and is currently participating in the Cure Cholangiocarcinoma Think Tank (C²T²).
